Faith Lindsay is an RnB/Soul artist with a sound very much influenced by the world of Jazz. Her sound can specifically be compared to Rachel Price and Lake Street Dive covering a Lana Del Ray tune.
Born in Charlotte, NC she never called one place home for longer than 4-5 years, due to her father’s work in railroads. Being raised across the United States, constant culture shock allowed her to develop a new understand of the human experience early on, and eventually to crave that connection with as many kinds of people as possible. After a life changing experience during a high school All-State Choir competition, in which a sobbing judge paused the competition to convince her to sing as a career, she decided to pursue music as more than just a hobby.
Since that day she has devoted almost every aspect of her life to her commercial music degree and evolving her artistry. As
she entered the school of music, she entered with the preconceived notion that she wanted to be a famous recording
artist. Of course, this is still part of the dream, but during her intensive studies, she picked up a production minor and fell in love with the theoretical and technical aspects of the art itself. She has also performed many solo gigs as well as with her Rnb/Gospel group, Voxology, and continues to make current progress on a solo EP to be released in 2022. Some of her biggest inspirations have been Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder, WILLOW and Jaden Smith, Joni Mitchell, and Billie Holiday.
Faith Lindsay has always felt a passion for creating music that pushes boundaries. With a wealth of natural talent and a lust for soulful melodies, her career in music performance and production is a clear fit. After completing her studies at Belmont University, Lindsay intends to remain in Nashville to grow her repertoire in the heart of Music City.
